You can see why the Paleo diet has got its nicknames of “The Caveman Diet”, “The Stoneage Diet” and even “The Huneter-gatherer Diet” when you consider that it is a nutritional diet based on the assumed diets of animals from the paleolithic age.
While that may sound quite terrible, the Paleo diet consists of fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, roots and meat and is considered very healthy. This is especially true considering it leaves out dairy products, refined sugar, legumes, processed oils and salt.
